Contemporary lighting and ashlar stone.

This lighting exhibition is part of the Nevers en Bleu programme, dedicated to arts and crafts and taking place in Nevers. The handmade lights from the design studio naturally find their place in this ashlar stone building of the Notre-Dame Abbey, where the modernity of the lighting complements the architectural beauty of the place.

Three lights to look at more closely.

Three lights will be on display. The Temple table lamp and its architectural, mysterious approach, the portable lamp and its faience bell, then the wall light. The designer invites the public to look closely at the elegance of each lamp and the craftsmanship, brought to life by the light it emits.

Understanding handcraft

For the occasion and the theme of gesture carried by the exhibition, each light will present the protocol of gestures required to make each lamp by hand. A moment to understand the beauty of the craftsmanship required for the creation of the lights.
