Each Temple lamp is drawn with restraint, and that minimal line gives the collection its modernity. The detail lies elsewhere, in subtle shifts of profile that make the form vibrate. They reveal themselves slowly: to a closer look, or once the lamp is lit and light grazes its surfaces. The collection brings together pendant lights, wall sconces, a plug-in hanging lamp and table lamps, and grows with each new piece.
Handmade in the French countryside
Temple brings out the beauty of French craftsmanship. Each lamp is handmade in white faience, in workshops of the French countryside. No two glazes are quite alike, and each piece keeps the trace of the hand that shaped it.
