In the heart of old Nevers, on rue des Récollets, is the workshop and boutique where Bouti Studio lighting is born. It is here that designer Clément Boutillon conceives and hand-crafts each piece of the collection — in ceramic, from initial sketch to finished product.
An unusual boutique
The boutique presents the full collection in context: table lamps, pendant lights and wall lights, in a setting that allows you to appreciate each piece at its real scale, in its material and its light. You will also find other decorative objects made by the designer — pieces that reflect a broader approach to handmade objects and high-end contemporary decoration.
The boutique is open by appointment, as the designer may be away.
Behind the scenes of creation
The visit doesn't stop at the pieces on display. The designer is happy to open up the studio: the plaster moulds, the design stages, the process from sketch to glazed piece — a hands-on way to understand what goes into each handcrafted light in the collection.
