The designer's light fixture presents an illusionist aesthetic that challenges perception. "Its shape suggests a classic roundness, while the details reveal the opposite, placing this lamp within the studio's particular expertise." The top of the portable lamp tapers, lending lightness to the piece and echoing the bell of the temple at Adam's Peak.

Hung on its wooden hook, the light plugs into a socket and adjusts in height to suit the desired feel of the interior — high enough for warm ambient lighting, very low for a bolder, more intentional decorative statement. The lamp features a switch chosen for its elegance and a satin braided cord.
