Bouti Studio launches its new online boutique and documents its designer lamps
Design and making: telling what cannot be seen
Behind every Bouti Studio lamp, there is a process. Formal decisions, manufacturing constraints, an aesthetic intention. These elements —often invisible in a simple product photo —are what the studio chooses to bring to light.
"Every piece has a story behind its design. I think you need to know it to better appreciate the work as a whole." —Clement Boutillon
The Lampe Meduse, the first documented piece
To launch this approach, the studio starts with the Lampe Meduse. The first lamp of the collection, launched in 2022, it is presented here for the first time through two films: one dedicated to its design, the other to its handcrafted making. A concrete format, set to become the reference for the entire collection.
New pieces coming soon
The collection is growing in the coming months. The Lampe Samourai, produced in an edition of 8, will be available again at the end of June. Two table lamps, a pendant light and two wall lights will follow — each with its own documentation.
