Bouti Studio presents the Lampe Meduse and unveils the new direction of its lighting collection.
After several years dedicated to creating lifestyle ceramics under their eponymous brand, designer Clement Boutillon launches Bouti Studio: a collection centred on lighting.

A defining piece
Among the fifteen pieces imagined by the designer, one stands out: the Lampe Meduse. The first lamp of the collection, launched in 2022, it is presented here for the first time in depth through two videos —one dedicated to its design, the other to its making. These two films reveal the aesthetic intention behind the lamp and how the design and manufacturing choices defined the piece.

A growing collection
New pieces will arrive soon. The Lampe Samourai, produced in an edition of 8 and not reproduced since its last sale, will be available at the end of June. Two table lamps, a pendant light and two wall lights will follow, whose complex manufacturing still requires time.

Documenting the process
This presentation work also reflects a desire to better document the creative process. "Every piece has a story behind its design. I think you need to know it to better appreciate the work as a whole. That is a direction we want to take —documenting both the design approach and the making more thoroughly." —Clement Boutillon
Positioning and pricing
Bouti Studio lamps range from 300 euros up to several thousand euros for numbered editions. The price of each piece is determined by its design, size and the complexity of its handcrafted production, carried out in France.
